Trajeco Industries builds the custom software that runs manufacturing and aerospace operations, and we operate that software ourselves in production. As a Backend Software Engineer, you’ll be at the center of that work, building the services that turn a customer’s operation into software that runs reliably, every shift.

The role

You’ll design and build backend services and APIs from concept through deployment, working across data models, integrations, and system architecture. This is hands-on engineering: you’ll ship code that runs in production on day one and keep tuning it until it holds up under real load.

What you’ll do

Build and maintain backend services that power line-control dashboards, integrations, and internal tools, define data models and APIs, and work with our product and infrastructure teams to make each service run unattended. You’ll own performance from first release through scale and iterate as customer requirements evolve.

What you’ll bring

Several years of hands-on experience building and operating backend services in production, plus a strong grounding in databases, APIs, and system design. You’re comfortable owning a service end to end and know the difference between code that works in a demo and code that holds up across a year of real usage.

Bonus points

Experience with manufacturing or industrial software, real-time data pipelines, or building systems that integrate with hardware and sensors. Familiarity with observability and how monitoring feeds reliability is a real plus.
